Are there any requirements to be able to join the Swim Team?
Kids 4-18 years of age are allowed to join the Hammerheads. The only requirement is that they can swim one length of the pool (25 yards) without assistance or without holding onto the lane rope or wall in less than 2 minutes 30 seconds.
What is the cost of registration for the 2026 summer swim team season?
Summer Swim Registration is $125.00 per child for members of the Hammond Hills Suburban Club.
Swim Team only fees are $150.00.
High School Swimmers $50.00 - (This is for Rising 9th – 12th graders only through age 18) – to qualify for this discount, any rising 9th through 12th grade swimmer must have competed the entire high school swim season at his/her high school. If you have any questions about this discount, please ask.
Do I have to be a member of the Hammond Hill Suburban Club to join the swim team?
No. You DO NOT have to be a member of the Club to participate on the swim team. If you choose not to join the Hammond Hills Suburban Club, your registration fee for the swim team will only allow you access to the pool during swim team practices, meets, and swim team events. However, a family membership at the Hammond Hills Suburban Club grants your immediate family access to the pool into September. We do encourage your family to join the pool to enjoy our amazing pool community.
What forms of payment do you accept for swim team registration?

How do I get a refund of swim team registration fees?
If, for some reason, you need to request a registration fee refund, please send an email to [email protected] stating the reason for the refund request, the swimmer's name, and your contact information. No refund will be given after May 19th. Approved refunds will be presented in the form of a check and will be sent to the address listed in the swimmers registration information. All efforts should be made to attend daily practice the week of May 11th to be sure the swim team is a good fit for your swimmer.
