The Hammond Hills Hammerheads Swim Team is a founding member of the CSRA Swim League. The league is an organization rich in history of 60+ years and has now grown to 20 Teams with a little over 2000 swimmers. We are an all-volunteer organization that is committed to providing a safe, fun, and competitive sports environment in which all can participate. The Hammerheads are in Division 2 in the League. Other Division 2 teams include Fermata, Mountclair, and Rivershyre.
Our purpose is to stimulate interest in competitive swimming and provide a means of teaching youth of all ages the meaning of good sportsmanship through competition.
Our goal is that swimmers have FUN and that they develop a life-long enjoyment of swimming, improve stroke technique, and accomplish individual goals while working in a team environment.
Our hope is the instruction we provide is a positive experience and that each swimmer ends the season with self-confidence in the water so they can take their enjoyment and skills to the next competitive levels at High School or Club level USA Swimming.
